Azusa Now

Take off will never lose its magic.

This weekend I had the amazing opportunity to be a part of a group of fourteen that flew out from Chicago to LAX for Azusa Now. Let me tell you, there's nothing quite like trying to sleep in an airport with loud announcements going off every fifteen minutes at one in the morning. Sleep: basically impossible.
We rented two vans and stopped for breakfast at McDonald's around 5am; had the best fast food restaurant experience of my life! (Believe me it was not the food that was phenomenal - we had to wait an hour at least before our food was even ready! - it was the people! So many people going to Azusa Now and we had the opportunity to pray with one another in the McDonalds! So good!)

The rest of the day was spent in the Colosseum. Around fourteen hours we stayed there in the rain and cold, praising God and praying with thousand and thousand (around 100,000) of other believers for revival. So many amazing people were there to lead us in prayer and pray for us and lead in worship! Bryan & Katie Torwalt, Bethel, Todd White, Loren cunningham, Bill Johnson, Kris Vallotton, Heidi Baker, Lou Engle, and so many more!
We spent Sunday on the beach playing frisbee and then hiked up a mountain to look out over the ocean and part of the city.

Currently functioning on less then six hours of sleep and putting lots of Aloe Vera on my entire body. I had an unforgettable time, thank you Jesus for the amazing memories and experience!
And on another note, I've fallen in love with California!
